My work is created using a variety of mixed media techniques from hand rendered to digital media, via a process of deconstruction and reconstruction, I use an archive of juxtaposing patterns and textures to visually translate an urban inspired, hyper-digital, abstracted world; campy, psychedelic and sprinkled in acid pink hues.

Since graduating from Leeds Arts University in 2017 with a Degree in Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern Design, I have built my own creative business and worked on an array of commissions and live briefs, creating bespoke artwork, graphic designs and mural paintings for a variety of small business and commercial spaces. More recently I decided to further the direction of my practice and completed my master’s degree in Creative Practice which largely focused on collaboration and public art.

Throughout my years as a creative practitioner, I have obtained a multitude of valuable skills and experiences. One of which was when I was working with fashion designer Mary Benson in London in which I had the opportunity to work on a collection that was featured in Vogue and helped to create prints for garments worn by celebrity clients such as Kate Nash. In 2018 I also had the amazing opportunity to be featured on BBC One’s ‘Home is Where the Art Is’ which was a great experience and led to many exciting opportunities and wider exposure.

Ultimately, I am interested in exploring the functionality aspect of my work, whether that be within fashion or interiors or anything else and I am excited by the prospect of collaborating and working alongside artists from other disciplines, merging practices and discovering how this shapes my own practice.
